For the month of September, diners in Orlando can enjoy magicaldining . Despite its name this is not a Disney initiative. Diners are offered a three course pix fixe menu in a range of interesting restaurants throughout central Florida.For $30 a head choices include, Fultons at Downtown Disney, Islands and Emeril's Tchoup Chop at Royal Pacific Resort, The Kitchen at The Hard Rock Hotel ,Mamma Della's and Bice at Portofino Bay, Seasons 52 and Emeril's amongst many others. More casual dining choices are available at $20 a head. Menus and a booking facility are available online.

restaurant.com is a website that sells heavily discounted gift certificates for selected restaurants .Very often a $25 certificate can be bought at $10 for use on a meal above $50 .
US customers can get 20% cashback on the cost of their restaurant.com certificates via fatwallet for alternatives please see the general discounts page.
Be aware that restrictions vary between restaurants. The certificates are delivered by email and can be paid for by credit card or Paypal.
Many of the Orlando choices near the theme parks appear to be in the International Drive area. Some of them such as BB Kings and Adobe Gilas may offer free discount vouchers elsewhere .
The restaurants available can sell out over time and then be re-stocked . There are usually discount codes available, sometimes for as much as 90% off the price of the certificates. The value of the codes released tends to be higher as time goes on and popular choices sell out.
The code ALL offers a 50% discount and appears to be valid most of the time.

They appear to cost $19.99 and £10 respectively, which at current exchange rates make the UK version cheaper. However, with due caution, both lots of visitors may be able to find a slightly better deal on ebay .

Many Orlando restaurants have an option to sign up for emails that can keep you up to date with promotional news. Signup is often rewarded with special offers. The expiry date on the offer is frequently short, so it may be best to sign up just before your trip. Some restaurants email specials for other occasions such as birthdays too , apparently some visitors choose to enter their trip commencement date as their birthdate .
